科研经历
供水是城市生命线工程之一,高品质供水是人民群众向往的美好生活的重要元素。本人面向国家重大需求和国际前沿热点,重视科学研究与工程应用的融合,确定研究方向为饮用水水质化学风险控制,主要包括饮用水新污染物、供水管网水质稳定性、突发水环境污染事故的应急处理。
主要创新性学术成果是:
(1)针对新型消毒副产物,发现了微生物代谢含氮物质生成亚硝胺前体物的新机理,开发了亚硝胺前体物的极性解析新技术和处理工艺,系统评估了新型和常规消毒副产物的健康风险
①在国际上首次提出并验证了微生物代谢水中含氮物质产生亚硝胺前体物的新机制(Water Res., 2020; Sci. Tot. Environ., 2023),通过实验室研究和城市尺度的定量源解析估算该机制可贡献我国水源水中约38 %的亚硝胺前体物(Water Res., 2020; J. Hazard Mat., 2021),有助于解释我国饮用水存在较高亚硝胺风险的原因。②首次开发了基于极性快速分析法(PRAM)的亚硝胺前体物解析技术(Water Res., 2014),揭示了亚硝胺前体物的基本结构特性:同时具有正电性和非极性。该解析技术和配套设备具有针对性强、操作简便、质控可靠等优点,可为自来水、污水、再生水处理提供有机物的极性和电性信息以提升处理效能(Water Res., 2015)。③首次开发了基于阳离子交换的亚硝胺前体物处理技术和浓缩工具(J. Env. Sci., 2017);发现黑臭水体存在较高亚硝胺前体物,识别出福美锌等新型亚硝胺前体物(Chemosphere, 2016)。④深入研究二甲双胍、表面活性剂、溴离子等前体物反应生成亚硝胺的机理(Sci. Tot. Environ., 2019; 2022; Chem. Res. Chinese Univ., 2023),为应对亚硝胺风险和筛查风险污染物提供了技术储备(Accounts Chem. Res., 2019)。⑤根据前体物解析研究结果,测试了常规工艺对亚硝胺及其前体物的去除特性(Sci. Tot. Environ., 2013; 2019),研究确定了臭氧-(生物)活性炭是现阶段的消毒副产物最佳可行控制技术,可同时控制亚硝胺、三卤甲烷和卤乙酸(J. AWWA, 2014; 2015; 2017),揭示了不同工艺去除前体物的机理(Water Res., 2015);研究了典型亚硝胺前体物的生物降解过程(Chemosphere, 2015; J. AWWA, 2015)。⑥开发了顺序氯化消毒技术,可安全高效地实现对微生物和三卤甲烷、卤乙酸、亚硝胺等消毒副产物的综合控制(Biomed. & Env. Sci., 2006, 2007; J. AWWA, 2017; Sep. & Purif. Tech., 2018)。⑦通过长期和大范围检测,识别出我国存在较高的饮用水亚硝胺新型消毒副产物风险(Water Res., 2016),引起了国内外的广泛关注。⑧系统开展亚硝胺暴露组学研究,定量评估饮用水、食品、烟草、药品等亚硝胺外源摄入量,为制订亚硝胺水质标准和管控策略提供技术支持(Sci. Tot. Environ., 2021; J. Env. Sci., 2023; Progress in Chemistry, 2023)。
(2)针对供水管网水质稳定性,开发了基于电化学信号的金属管道腐蚀结垢状态在线监测新技术,建立了水质稳定性评估和控制技术体系
①在国内外首次开发了基于电化学信号的管网腐蚀结垢状态在线监测技术(Water Res., 2020),为监控金属管线安全提供了新手段。深入开展铁质管材管垢破裂溶析产生黄水问题的机理,首次开发以人造管垢和新型管道反应器为核心的管道电化学研究测试平台,为Kuch机理提供了直接试验证据(Water Res., 2023)。②发现经典的拉森指数用于评估低碱低硬水时存在失效风险,开发出适用于软水水质(如长三角区域)的铁稳定性指数,丰富和发展了化学稳定性评价方法(J. Cleaner Production, 2023)。③深入研究了管网生物稳定性的变化过程、评估方法和控制技术,系统评估了微生物在管网水质稳定性方面的影响(J. Env. Sci., 2023),阐明了微生物种群的“生境压力-竞合抵抗”关系是管网微生态系统的主要演化机理,明确了消毒剂强度与营养基质(以可同化有机碳AOC为指标)是影响管网承载力的关键微生境因子(J. Env. Sci., 2014; 2015; Biomed. Environ. Sci., 2014; Appl. Microbiol. Biotechnol. 2015)。④在供水管网中识别了分支杆菌、鞘氨醇单胞菌、甲基杆菌、铁细菌等多种耐氯性微生物,建立了针对耐氯菌的脉冲式高剂量氯消毒技术(Annals Microbiology, 2009; Biomed. Environ. Sci., 2012; J. Environ. Sci., 2015),为控制南方高热地区供水管网生物稳定性和保障直饮水安全提供技术策略。⑤在北京、天津、广州、东莞、杭州、宁波、平湖、青岛等地开展了大量的管网水质稳定性研究和实践工作,参与了2008年北京黄水问题的应急处理研究,快速判别黄水产生原因,建立了应对技术方案并支撑了工程实践(Frontier Env. Sci. Engin., 2014; J. Env. Sci., 2014; J. Cleaner Production, 2023),为南水北调中线、千岛湖引水、西江引水等重大调水工程的顺利实施提供了管网水质稳定性方面的技术支持。
(3)针对常规和新污染物的突发污染风险,构建了系统高效的应急净化处理技术体系,开发了海量有机(新)污染物的应急效能预测模型,开发了基于藻类生长机理的预测模型和系统
①建立了系统高效的城市供水应急处理技术体系,包括活性炭吸附、化学沉淀、氧化/还原、强化消毒、曝气吹脱和藻类综合处理等6类关键技术,覆盖饮用水标准中绝大部分100多种污染物(Environ. Sci. & Technol., 2011; Accounts Chem. Res., 2019);率先获得了数十种有机污染物的活性炭吸附特性,首次突破了自来水厂应对重金属严重超标水源水的化学沉淀处理技术和应对挥发性污染物的曝气吹脱技术。②建立了基于线性溶剂化自由能关系的海量有机(新)污染物应急吸附、吹脱性能的预测模型(SAR & QSAR in Environ. Res. 2015; J. Environ. Sci., 2016,JES outstanding publication award)。③合作开发了应急处理导试水厂、射流加药系统、移动式应急药剂投加系统、异位应急处理反应器等关键设备,在全国20多个自来水公司、上百个投药系统工程中得到应用。④研究藻类死亡过程中硫醇硫醚类恶臭物质的释放机理,为太湖水危机事故原因判断、高藻水处理技术开发提供依据(J. Hat. Mat., 2010);构建基于藻类生长机理模型的在线监测预警系统,为富营养化湖泊水库的藻类治理和供水安全提供“眼睛”和“大脑”(Progress in Chemistry, 2025)。⑤参与了2005年松花江硝基苯污染、2007年无锡太湖水危机、2008年汶川地震、2012年广西龙江河镉污染、2014年兰州自来水苯超标、2015年天津港爆炸事故、2015年广元应对锑污染应急供水、2018年河南南阳淇河污染等重大事件应急工作,参与多个城市的“一河一策一图”的编制工作,多次担任住建部、环保部和各级政府的专家组成员,大大提高了供水行业面对水源突发污染事故时的应急处理能力。
共负责国家级课题7项(十一五水专项1项、科技支撑1项、国家自然基金面上项目4项和青年项目1项)、子课题1项(十二五水专项1项),清华自主科研项目2项,参与数十项国家和省部级课题。发表SCI 论文100多篇(总被引4000+,H-index=34),国际会议大会报告4次、口头报告40多次,主编英文专著1部、参编中英文专著10余部,申请专利30多项(已授权20多项),入选2020年Elsevier中国高被引学者(土木工程领域),所负责课题指导了10余座示范工程建设,供水保障能力超过1000万m3/d,研究成果被《人民日报》《中央电视台》《科技日报》《中国环境报》《南方周末》等媒体多次报道。
