Dr Peyman Babakhani is a Geoenvironmental Engineering Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering and Management at the University of Manchester. His research spans environmental engineering and global biogeochemical cycles. Dr Babakhani extensively utilizes nanotechnology for geoenvironmental applications, ranging from groundwater remediation to ocean fertilization for carbon dioxide removal. His research to date has been published in Nature, Nature Geoscience, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, and other high-impact journals.
